About this service areaAbout South Bay
South Bay began beside the North New River Canal, completed in 1912, near the southeastern shore of Lake Okeechobee; only 12 families lived there in 1917. The settlement grew with neighboring Glades communities during the 1920s and incorporated as a city in 1941 at the crossroads of U.S. 27 and State Road 80.
Business support in South Bay
South Bay RV Park includes a boat ramp with access to Lake Okeechobee and a segment of the Lake Okeechobee Scenic Trail. Businesses serving visitors or customers with equipment should specify where a pickup or appointment takes place and what needs to be arranged in advance. Keep the business's own service terms separate from park rules, campground availability, and trail information.

Questions from businesses in South Bay
How can a South Bay business explain a pickup or meeting point?
Give the actual business address or approved meeting location, directions, and any booking steps. Do not use a park or boat ramp as a business location unless that is genuinely where service takes place.
Should South Bay businesses link to the RV park's rules?
Link to the County if a public-facility detail matters to the customer. Keep your own availability, prices, and service conditions on your business page.
What makes a service-area statement useful in South Bay?
State the places the business covers, whether it travels, and how a customer confirms a request. Include only areas the team can actually serve.
